About Links
A2Z Edit Links covers short-lived file delivery and simple redirects without forcing an account. Use Temporary File Share when someone needs a download for a limited time, Link Redirects when you want a short /r/ URL with an optional wait screen, and My Links to review or Forget entries you created on this device.
Shares go through the share API (about 4.5 MB max on the current path) and land in Backblaze B2 when that storage is configured; otherwise local development uses .data/. Redirects store destination metadata the same way. Forget removes what the API can delete so links do not linger longer than you intend.
This page is a link index only — it does not embed the create forms. Each child tool does one job and links back here. For image or PDF work, start from those hubs instead of Links.
How to use

- 2Create a share or redirect on that page (set expiry or wait time if offered).
- 3Copy the link or QR — Forget in My Links deletes storage when available.
FAQ
- What is the file share size limit?
- Temporary file shares are capped at about 4.5 MB (uploaded through the share API). Larger direct-to-storage uploads are not the default UI path today.
- Where are files stored?
- Shares use Backblaze B2 when configured and are deleted on expiry or Forget. Without B2, local .data/ is used for development only.
- Do redirects require signup?
- No. A2Z Edit has no accounts — create short /r/ links directly.
- Can I edit a link after creating it?
- Use My Links to find entries from this browser and Forget ones you no longer need. Create a new share or redirect if the destination or file should change.
