Our mission

Make everyday image, PDF, OCR, QR, and link tasks free, fast, and as private as possible — right in the browser.

Too many “free” utilities force sign-ups, watermarks, or surprise uploads. We focus on clear feature pages, fast UI, and keeping work on your device whenever the tool allows it.

Who runs the site

A2Z Edit is operated as an independent web product under the A2Z Edit brand. We build and maintain the site for everyday creators, students, and professionals who need quick document and image fixes without installing desktop software.

What you can do here

• Image tools — remove or extend backgrounds, resize, convert, compress, watermark.
• PDF tools — merge, split, compress, rotate, convert, edit text, redact, and more.
• OCR — extract English and Arabic text from images and documents.
• QR codes and Civil ID PDF maker.
• Links — temporary file shares and short redirects with My Links management.

Technology behind the tools

• Next.js + React for the website and routing.
• Client-side processing where possible (Canvas, WebAssembly, and browser libraries) so image/PDF/OCR/QR work can stay on your device.
• Backblaze B2 (when configured) for durable temporary file shares and redirect metadata in production.
• Optional AI providers only for features like Ask PDF when API keys are configured — not required for the rest of the suite.

We continuously improve performance, accessibility for people and AI agents, and crawlability (sitemap, robots, structured data) so the right tool page is easy to find.
