This page is a short maintenance log for A2Z Edit. It exists so visitors (and reviewers) can see that the site is curated over time — tools get fixed, thin URLs get de-emphasized, and documentation is updated when behavior changes. It is not a marketing blog and it does not invent traffic numbers.

Store badges and Android download reliability September 27, 2026
Official Google Play and Huawei AppGallery badges now appear in the footer, on the homepage, and on About, linking to the live Android listing.
The Android WebView app routes tool downloads through a native bridge so “Download” buttons save files to the device Downloads folder instead of silently failing on blob links.
Guides indexing and converter mill cleanup September 2026
Short convert-pair clones and niche color routes stay usable but are noindex and off the sitemap so crawlers see curated articles and flagship tools, not a doorway grid.
Featured how-tos on the Guides hub and homepage were written as decision guides (when not to use a tool, English vs Arabic OCR, redaction vs a black box) rather than keyword stubs.
Browser-first toolkit positioning 2026
A2Z Edit remains a free, no-account toolkit: image, PDF, OCR, QR, and file jobs run in the tab when possible. Temporary file share, redirects, and Ask PDF are the documented exceptions.
Trust pages (About, How we work, Disclaimer, Privacy, Terms, Contact) name the independent operator and spell out what leaves the device.
What we refuse to ship for “page count”
I do not mass-publish near-duplicate “JPG to X” articles or unlock unpublished video / YouTube downloaders to pad the sitemap. Those patterns look busy and read empty. When a converter pair is useful for users but thin for search, it stays live and noindex.
If something broke on a specific file or browser, use Contact with the page URL and a non-confidential sample description.
