How to scan a QR code from an image
- Open QR Scanner on A2Z Edit.
- Upload the image that contains the QR code.
- Let the scanner detect and decode it.
- Read the resulting URL or text.
- Open links only if you trust the source.
Why it matters
Image scanning recovers codes when you cannot point a live camera at a printout.
Tips
- Crop tightly around the QR for faster detection.
- Avoid blurry escalator-billboard photos—reshoot when possible.
- Treat unexpected URLs with caution before visiting.
Decode in the tab
Upload a photo or screenshot; the scanner reads the payload locally. Blurry or low-contrast codes fail. Opening the URL afterwards is your choice — the tool does not visit it in a sandbox.
Generate codes on the sibling page. Printed codes still need quiet space and dark-on-light contrast.
