How to Change an Image Aspect Ratio

Aspect ratio is the shape of the frame (width vs height), not the file size. Platforms ask for 16:9 covers, 9:16 stories, 4:5 posts, and more.
Cropping to a locked ratio is the cleanest change. When you cannot afford to lose edges, extend the background first, then crop.
How to Change an Image Aspect Ratio
- Open Crop Image and upload your photo.
- Pick a ratio chip such as 4:3, 16:9, or 9:16 (or Free for a custom shape).
- Position the crop over the important subject.
- Download the result.
- If you need more scene instead of less, use Extend Background, then return to crop for the final ratio.
