How to protect personal info when sharing files

  1. List what must stay private (IDs, addresses, account numbers).
  2. Blur those regions on photos; redact them on PDFs.
  3. Strip image EXIF and PDF document info.
  4. Remove pages that are not required.
  5. Do a final visual pass before you upload or email.
