How to Blur or Pixelate Part of an Image

Screenshots and group photos often include names, plates, or faces you should not publish. A2Z Edit lets you draw rectangles and apply blur or pixelation yourself.
There is no automatic face detection — you choose every region, which keeps the workflow predictable for documents and UI captures.

- Open the Blur / Pixelate tool.
- Upload the photo or screenshot.
- Choose Blur or Pixelate and adjust strength if needed.
- Drag a box over the sensitive area, then apply the selection.
- Repeat for more regions if needed, then download the PNG.
Why it matters
Manual regions work on IDs, chat names, and UI chrome that face detectors miss.
You control how strong the hide effect is before the file leaves your device.
Tips
- Pixelation at higher strength is harder to reverse than a light blur.
- Cover a slightly larger box than the text so edges do not leak readable pixels.
- Stack multiple regions rather than one huge box when only a few spots matter.

Does this detect faces automatically?
No. You draw each region manually. That is intentional for screenshots and documents.
Can I mix blur and pixelate?
Apply one mode per selection. Switch modes between regions if you need both styles.
