How to Watermark an Image

- Open the Watermark Image tool.
- Upload one or more photos.
- Enter watermark text and/or upload a logo file.
- Tune opacity, font size, and tiling.
- Apply the watermark, preview, then download or ZIP the batch.
Why it matters
Visible ownership cues help when images circulate on social platforms.
Draft stamps (for example CONFIDENTIAL) make status obvious in reviews.
Tips
- Keep opacity moderate so the subject still reads clearly.
- Tiled marks are harder to crop out than a single corner logo.
- Watermark a compressed copy you plan to publish, not only the master archive.
A reminder, not encryption
A visible mark labels drafts and client previews. Determined people can crop it. Keep an unmarked master. Opacity should be readable without wrecking the picture.
For PDFs use Watermark PDF. A watermark is not redaction — secrets under the stamp can still be copied.
